Talent Acquisition Advisor – Human Resources🧭 What is your role?
Talent Acquisition Advisor for Fenix Outdoor North America
📍 What location do you work from?
Louisville, CO (Corporate Office)
🌿 What drew you to Fjällräven, and what keeps you here?
I’ve always been drawn to mission-focused work, so the opportunity to support a brand rooted in protecting nature and encouraging outdoor life felt like a natural fit. That sense of purpose still motivates me every day.
What keeps me here, though, is the people. My team is collaborative, thoughtful, and genuinely aligned with our values. Getting to work alongside people who care deeply about both the work and each other makes a meaningful difference.
💬 What’s a common misconception about your job, and what’s the reality?A common misconception is that Talent Acquisition is just posting jobs and filling roles. In reality, it’s a very high-touch and strategic process.
I spend a lot of time partnering with hiring managers, supporting candidates, and helping ensure our process is thoughtful, respectful, and aligned with our values. I take pride in creating a positive experience for jobseekers while helping us find strong, values-aligned talent.
🌍 How does your work connect to our mission of sustainability, quality, and outdoor life?
I see my role, and our broader HR team, as driving people strategy. The people we bring into the organization shape our decisions, our culture, and ultimately our impact.
By hiring thoughtfully and prioritizing values alignment, we help protect our long-term vision and support a company that values quality, sustainability, and a deep respect for the outdoors.
🫎 Do you have a favorite local nature spot?
We’re spoiled for choice in Colorado, but Brainard Lake is a consistent favorite. I love snowshoeing there in the winter and hiking in the warmer months.
Sometimes my perfect visit is much simpler: a backpacking chair, a few snacks, a good book, and the clear water views... occasionally in the quiet company of a moose or two.

About Fjällräven North America
Founded in 1960 by Åke Nordin in his hometown of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, Fjällräven began with one idea: better gear makes time in nature more accessible. What started in a basement workshop has grown into a global outdoor brand, with products now available in more than 70 countries.
In North America, we bring that same commitment to functional, durable, timeless design to our retail stores, wholesale partners, and e-commerce channels. Our range includes outdoor clothing and accessories for women and men, as well as backpacks, tents, and sleeping bags, all created with a long-term perspective.
We act responsibly toward people, wildlife, and the environment, and we design products made to last for years, not seasons. We're also proud to host community-driven events like Fjällräven Classic and Fjällräven Polar, which bring thousands together to experience the outdoors in a thoughtful, shared way.
Fjällräven is part of Fenix Outdoor AB, an international group of premium outdoor brands.
